Your Application Description

For braking systems, landing gear deployment, flight control actuation...etc

Technical Data

In order to properly size the reservoir, we must understand what displaced fluid volume is required from what high pressure to what low pressure, and over what temperature range. Please provide best approximation for unknown values if able.

Provide if known, otherwise state TBD; This is the system fluid volume that the reservoir needs to be capable of holding and/or expelling, not considering the starting volume of the reservoir itself.
Provide if known, otherwise state TBD; This will be 0 unless you wish some fluid remaining in the reservoir. NOTE: There will always be some amount of dead fluid volume that will need to remain within the reservoir. This volume will be determined by Senior.
Provide if known, otherwise state TBD
Provide if known, otherwise state TBD or N/A if reservoir does not need to apply pressure to system.

Sample information to include

  • Material Requirements (e.g. stainless steel, or titanium)
  • Fluid Type - If this is a volume compensator, please provide the relevant coefficient of thermal expansion needed to determine what additional volume compensation is required for the dead volume within the reservoir.
  • Environment description
  • Cycle life requirements (definition and number of partial/full cycles)
  • Full/cycle rate
  • Fill conditions - Will volume compensator start in neutral position? How will this position be achieved? (Hardware, pressure readings, fixed volume, etc)
